What about accommodations?
We will be meeting underneath the awning at the back of the building which has served us well as a spacious, naturally lit, open-air classroom. In the classroom you will find refreshing drinks each week, typically iced flavored water and ice tea. We will also be providing sunscreen, SPF 30+ which we urge participants to use before going out in the garden. There will also be snacks offered just in case you didn't have time to snag breakfast on your way out.
What should I bring with me?
Most importantly, a hunger to learn! We also ask class attendees to dedicate a notebook or binder with paper to the course so significant notes won't go missed. We have roughly 10 chairs in supply here, but we will need most class members to bring their own chairs- fold out chairs have worked well in the past. Your wardrobe should consist of a hat and clothes you don't mind getting dirty - also, consider a pair of sunglasses.
Garden tools, such as shovels and hand trowels will be necessary to bring from home on certain class days. If you prefer you can leave them in our care during the course, just be sure and mark them with your initials first.

Are pets, children and sit-in visitors allowed?
Summer, our blue-tongued skink.
In a word, yes! Children under the age of 16 and pets are invited at no extra charge and we'd love to have them. However, please be aware that some participants may have allergies and we will ask you to be considerate of them if it arises.
Anyone wishing to sit-in on the course may do so at the charge of $10/class. Please ask the participant to bring a chair and any other tools needed for that day and call ahead to notify us of the attendee.

What's the best way to get my questions answered?
If you are NOT a class participant, please refer to our Contact Us page and feel free to call or email us any time. If you ARE a class participant, please post your question to our Blog so other members of the course can benefit from the answer as well.
